Home theater system
The Home Cinema II is a completely do-it-yourself home theater system. It eliminates the mess of wires and expense of professional installation though wireless video technology. The straightforward system is comprised of just two components: the Smart Shelf and a digital projector. The Smart Shelf houses the cinema screen, which is automatically raised when the projector is turned on. In addition to a built-in DVD player, the shelf also contains a connector panel for other AV input devices (cable, VCR, PC). When not in use, the shelf has plenty of room for decorative items and furnishings. The projector can be mounted on the ceiling or placed on a coffee table. The white ceramic finish of the projector and the natural-wood finish and metal trim details of the Smart Shelf complement any home décor.

Library Guide
With the advent of the Internet, traditional physical libraries have seen a shift in popularity.  Sterotypically a library is a large and difficult place to navigate and search.  Another common factor faced by users is the book return policy and loan duration.
The Intelligent Library Bookmark concept was designed to address some of these more common issues.
Doubling as a standard book marker, the device also incorporates a navigational system giving gives turn by turn directions through the library.  To assist the user in remembering loan durations, the bookmark also keeps track of the borrowed books and reminds the user of the return dates.
Kitchens of the future

Enter the high-tech, futuristic SieMatic Grid S2 multimedia cabinet, which looks to be a great addition to our kitchens of the future . The handleless multimedia cabinet boasts a graphical user interface (GUI) that brings high-end entertainment right into your kitchen. The SieMatic Grid S2 brings with it internet access, an iPod dock, DVD, TV and radio entertainment. The cabinet also works with the other integrated smart kitchen appliances.
One of the interesting features of the Grid S2 is that it lets you receive progress reports from the oven and washing machine while watching some TV program or a DVD movie. The multimedia center has a pullout drawer behind the monitor, which you can use to store accessories, such as the wireless keyboard, mouse, remote control, CDs and DVDs.
Latest innovation in TV
The CLARO represents the latest innovation in TV and display technology combined with a visual design  aesthetic to introduce the TV system of the future – a transparent glass TV and media system utilising holographic technology.The Holoscreen is a revolutionary holographic film which displays any image fed through a projector at a specific angle on to a  transparent display. All other light is ignored. The result is a remarkably bright and sharp image quality – even in brightly lit environments. The screen is a 1.5m x 1.0m rectangle of 10mm glass with a 610mm x 814mm sheet of translucent attached to it. Any type of projector can  be used to cast the image. To complete the futuristic setup, a pair of optional Ferguson Hill FH001 speakers can be positioned either side of the screen.

This mobile phone is completely flexible due to the technology behind it… it uses a graphene touch screne being graphene based makes it essentially indestrucable the battery has been created by NEC which is an organic radical secondary battery it’s slim, felxible and has a high-speed charge which is it’s key feature of only taking 30 seconds to mantain a full charge. the phone is also waterproof and the main speaker and keyboard can be removed for ease of use.

A Vision for our Future

FLOWLIGHT is a conceptual vision of how Waterford City and other quayside cities and towns could illuminate their quaysides in an innovative and unique way in the future. FLOWLIGHT is a renewable energy product, which sources its energy from the flow of a tidal river to create a quayside street lighting product. The River Suir has thousands of litres of water flowing up and down river, passing our city quayside every day of the year.  This is an incredible amount of flowing energy waiting to be harnessed. Why not use it?

This Invisible Shot Laser Watch is designed by Andy Kurovets. It looks like a normal bracelet but when you press a discreet button and laser light will reflects the time on your wrist. It’s definitely a watch for the night.

Digital measuring cup SmartMeasure

The SmartMeasure digital measuring cup is the functional combination of a digital scale and a measuring cup.  Designed with everyone in mind, an easy to read back lit LCD provides real time measurements taking the guesswork and eyestrain out of measuring.
Simple intuitive controls allow the user to navigate through numerous preset ingredients and convert between the most common units.  Smartmeasure does the combined work of several kitchen tools, with fewer distractions and less clean up.
The SmartMeasure was hugely succesful for Ansen and was expanded into a full line of kitchen products.
Our contributions to project including 2-D concept development, 3-D CAD development, engineering and working with oversees manfacturing resources.


Future Photography in a really Small Lens.

The Funamizu is back with another concept. The idea revolves around a lens system that is totally self contained with everything needed to take SLR quality photos. It wirelessly transmits the images to a hub device – in this case, a transparent screen.
